One of the best kept “secrets” of Dubai is the ladies night concept. Ladies nights are popular in many Asian countries but it is not the first thing you think about when you talk about a city in the Arabian peninsula. Tuesday has been the night for the ladies but nowadays ladies nights are offered also during other days. The idea of the concept is simple; ladies get drinks either free of charge or with a minimal charge. The most legendary ladies night location is probably the Yacht Club in Marina but it never became my favorite. (Not so) suprisingly, we tried quite a few of these ladies night spots with my lovely ladies. Following are three of my favorites:
1) Pure Sky Lounge, Hilton Jumeirah
This bar is located in JBR (Jumeirah Beach Residence) on top of Hilton Residences hotel. In addition to tasty cosmopolitans, it also offers fantastic views from their terrace. Free pink beverages are on offer to ladies from 9pm to 11pm.
2) The Beach House, Anantara Palm
For 75 dirhams ladies will get free flowing bubbly. First 50 ladies will get a small pouch with a gemstone inside it. One of these stones will be a real gem. Visit the jewellery boutique inside the hotel and evaluate your stone. We can recommend the restaurant/bar also during other evenings. The location on the palm, next to the beach is quite lyric.
3) Z:ONE ja DEK on 8, Media One hotel
These two spots are located in a relaxed business hotel in Media City close to Marina. You can start your evening in the Z:ONE bar downstairs and then continue to THE DEK on 8. In Z:ONE ladies will get 3 free drinks and additional ones on the 8th floor.

You can also find new places on this site. Overdressed doesn’t belong to Dubai vocabulary so grab a chic dress, 5 inch Jimmy Choos and your best ladies along. Have fun!
